Titans of the Texas Legislature focuses on legislative affairs from Austin, Texas to the local governments and personalities in the Lower Rio Grande Valley, a metropolitan region in deep South Texas which is home to almost 1.5 million residents. Hidalgo, Cameron, Willacy and Starr counties make up this area.
Since 1981, David A. Díaz, who lives in deep South Texas and spent 15 years in Austin, has developed, written and distribute more than 1,600 (one thousand, six hundred) articles, including placements in Titans of the Texas Legislature, to almost 1,000 (one thousand) email subscribers to the publication.
Díaz has participated in the Texas Legislature and Texas politics from the vantage point not available to most journalists – from the inside of the corridors of power at the Texas Capitol.
