UTRGV School of Medicine received a five-year, $3.75 million grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Health Resources and Services Administration to develop the three AHECs, which will offer free health care to residents and educational opportunities for students enrolled in UTRGV’s health professions programs.
